Lots of randomness in today’s post so forgive me, but it is after midnight and if I am able to make a few coherent sentences we are calling it a success.
I am writing late because we just rolled in from a great little road trip. We went to North Carolina this weekend for a family event. I will try to share more about that in another post.
But for today………my March Madness bracket reflects my basketball knowledge. I have one team left…..but who knows maybe they will win it all. Honestly, I am exhausted watching these kids play. I can’t fathom playing this many games in a row or even one game truthfully. I can remember my own kids being in tournaments and me wishing (not so secretly) that they would lose so we could be done. I could definitely not be a March Madness mom. It is a lot.
I do have one restaurant we tried to share with you today.
Osteria LuCa is a new Italian restaurant in town and we tried it for lunch
I had the sandwich/salad combo
I chose the half meatball sub and Caesear Salad. It was quite tasty. The meatball was superb and I would like to have it with some pasta next time around.
My husband chose soup and Salad
He had tomato soup and grilled cheese. He gave it two thumbs up!
We splurged and had the brownie with ice cream to finish things off
The service was wonderful. The atmosphere was lovely.
It was not a ton of food but we left perfectly satisfied and not needing an immediate nap. I think that’s a plus and I appreciated it.
