We tried out another brunch spot – The Furniture Factory. The Furniture Factory has actually been a long standing restaurant in town. I can remember back in the good old days when we went to the office every day, several people loved going there for lunch. They opened a location in Providence and we thought we would check it out. We always try to call ahead just in case they will actually write your name down ahead of time….most won’t. Anyway when I called them they had no wait. I am going to be honest, I was a little worried. You already know if you try to go to brunch, the wait times are crazy. People are flying off of pews before benedictions, slam dunking tithes checks into collection plates and peeling out of parking lots to get to Sunday Brunch. And by people, I mean other people. 🙂
Here’s what we had

I had the french toast which was six huge slices of sour dough. It was a lot. I brought half of it home. Now if you like seriously sweet french toast, this is not eat. But I thought it was quite tasty.
My husband got the cheese omelette with potatoes and toast. He thought it was quite good.
The table next to us got the breakfast sandwich and it also looked really good. I may try it next time…….you know if they still don’t have a wait.
Wishing you the best week!
