Last August was one of the most unexpected hard times for many of us who read here. Last August we lost a beautiful 25 year old young lady to leukemia. We, like many others in this city, stood on the sidewalk outside of Huntsville Hospital and lost it…..disbelief.
But today I want to focus on another day – March 6th.
That is the day God gave us Mariah Alexandria. God blessed our dear friend Phyllene with this beautiful girl.

She was prayed for. She was joyfully received by us all. Both Phyllene and Mariah possessed a unique ability to love BIG! To love beyond their immediate nuclear family. To make us all feel like we were special to them…..a part of them. We were thrilled for this. Phyllene, still to this day, is generous and loving. She was always generous enough to share Mariah with us, to allow us to pour into Mariah, to help with Mariah, guide Mariah, to fully and openly love Mariah. It is a gift I will never take for granted or forget. Here are some of our favorite memories with Mariah

We are honoring Mariah by making a donation of parking tokens to Huntsville Hospital. You see when families are facing these difficult diagnoses, undergoing treatments and spending countless days in the hospital, they are also paying to park there. Paying each and every time they leave to get a shower, or food, or a change of clothing or a moment.
We will REMEMBER Mariah.
We will HONOR her memory.
We will ACT by helping others facing similar battles.
If you would like to give, leave a comment and I will contact you, send me an email or message me on Instagram. All donations will be used to buy parking tokens which will be donated to families on the oncology floor.
Thanking God for the gift of March 6, the gift of Mariah, and the BIG LOVE she lived spurring us to continue showing that love to others in her honor.
