Cava Anyone?

Have you tried Cava? The first time I went in there I literally couldn’t understand what was going on. Luckily I was just buying a gift card. But everyone was ordering little scoops of stuff and I just found it odd. I went back with my daughter who is a regular there and she walked me through it.

Here is my first Cava order

I built my own bowl. I got the brown rice, with the harissa honey chicken, corn, tomato/cucumber and feta.

Now they have all these little scoops of stuff you can add, but I am a no on those. They also have different dressings you can get all over it and I was a no on those too.

But this bowl was delicious. I got a side of the fried pita and let me tell you……that alone is worth going for. I have thought about those pita wedges ever since.

Go give it a try and just take your time reading about all the options. The good thing is they can put a lot of the stuff on the side. So if you are unsure just ask for it that way so you can test run a few other things.

It may be one of my new favorite places!
