Hello! I do hope the week is off to a good start for you. We are already half way to the next weekend. Yippee.Yah.Yay. Before I report on my latest restaurant encounter, let me say you may have missed a few emails in your box. While I was still writing and posting on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The emails were not going out. If you only read by clicking through the email, just scan back a few posts and get yourself caught up. I think we have it fixed now…..so fingers crossed you found this one in your inbox this morning. But please know you can always type in the website www.onthecouchunderathrow.com and see what is posted even if you don’t get an email.
Now here’s the delicious food report

We tried Sa Za which is out by the Trash Panda Baseball Stadium. Their sub-title is Serious Italian Food and I would agree. We tried the Margarita Pizza, the Chicken Picata, the Spicey Sausage Rotini and the Lasagna. It was all good……and it was very large portions. Most of us brought home a carry out and enjoyed it for lunch the next day.
We also ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer and the bread. I have mixed feelings about having to order and pay for the bread separately, but it was a nice size portion and quite tasty. It is just hard to eat saucy pasta without bread.
They, much like others, seemed to be a little short on staff. But they were attentive and very kind so it all went well. We have just adopted a more relaxed, we may have to wait a bit attitude when we go out now. It is better for everyone. The folks who do show up to work certainly don’t deserve a bad customer attitude. So it was all good.
We enjoyed Sa Za’s and will definitely return again.
See you back on Friday!
