Ok, it was a rough month of finding stuff to watch. I didn’t like a lot of it but I’ll share my thoughts here and perhaps spare you from wasting a few hours of your life……you’re welcome.
Here’s what I watched

The Playlist – now while this wasn’t riveting, it was interesting. This is the story of how Spotify came to be. I really had no idea. This whole streaming music thing was a really big deal and apparently people were doing it illegally for a long time and some people even went to jail. Sometimes I literally feel like I have been living under a rock. I guess while I was busy playing Lionel Richie vinyls other people were already streaming. This one is several episodes. Honestly, I let it play in the background because some of it was pretty slow. But I did feel like a learned a little something so that was good.
Bad Words – I am a Jason Bateman fan so that is what drew me to this one…..but I didn’t love it. The premise was good. A grown man finds a loophole that allows him to enter the spelling bee. You can imagine the upheaval. Well it was good, could have been funny but I guess they felt it needed a lot of bad language and some really unnecessary steamy scenes. If you fast forward through those, you could possibly enjoy or you can just watch QVC and enjoy your life.
Now We Have a Ghost was really good!!!!! I actually had skipped this one because I really don’t like ghost things, but this was funny and entertaining. Fortunately, my hairdresser had just turned this on when I walked in. We watched most of it together and then I finished it at home. It was actually very good and definitely worth watching.
American Hustle – I remember when this won a ton of Oscar awards. So I thought I would give it a go. I really enjoyed it as well. Now these were the greasiest and sweatiest characters I have ever seen. It seemed like it was just hot and humid and sticky and miserable. But the story line is really good and it is quite the cast. This one was worth the watch too!
Unstable is also pretty good. It is a series and the premise is a dad who runs a research company has gone off the deep end. The son comes to work at the company to keep things going. It is one of those stupid humor shows so you can just enjoy it. There is nothing to take serious in this one. Just entertainment.
Well there you go. Hopefully yu can enjoy a few and a avoid a few of those.
Let’s go make it a great week! Oh and don’t forget to invest in your friendships this month!
