I spent most of December watching every Christmas movie ever made. But I managed to squeeze in a few other things and they were all GOOD!

Here’s what I watched

Knives Out is a movie but there are a couple in the series. We watched the first while on vacation last year. This new one is just as good or maybe better. You don’t have to see one to see the other. The detective is the consistent character….everything else is standalone. This is a very well written story that has you guessing about who, what and when and then very shocked at the end when it all comes together. It is not scary at all. It has enough comedy built in to alleviate any tension. Definitely check this one out.

Emily in Paris is such a pretty show. I was happy to see a new season being released. If you have missed the first two, no worries, they are all available on Netflix. You do need to watch this one in order. The scenery is spectacular. The wardrobe is so fun. But they do throw in the occasional intimate scene. It is not graphic and in your face but it is just enough that you wouldn’t want to watch it with impressionable little minds in the room. And honestly 7:00 pm television shows more than you’ll see in this series. This one is worth it for the clothing alone. So fun to watch.

Lastly, is Kaleidoscope. Supposedly everyone watches this in different order. The episodes are by color. I started with pink and ended with white. The purple episode was my favorite. But this is very well written. So entertaining. The premise is a group of people band together to steal billions in bonds. So there is a tiny bit of language and a smattering of violence, but not much at all. I really enjoyed this show a lot and hated to get to the last episode.
