The new Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant is open in Clift’s Farm. I think they may be in week three. So I will start with the fact they are still working out a few kinks. It was very obvious who the trainers were and who the trainees were. The good news is it is really a beautiful restaurant and the staff was phenomenal. When they all hit their rhythm it is going to be a great spot.
We went mid afternoon on a Sunday so brunch was still an option.
Here’s what we ordered

They have this courtesy pretzel bread…..say yes to it. It was quite tasty.
We had the three egg breakfast which came with some delicious potatoes and a choice of sausage of bacon. It was good but the breakfast pizza was fantastic. The breakfast pizza is on the appetizer menu but certainly enough for one person to have as a meal.
We did take a look at the entire menu and there were a lot of things that looked good. The chicken piccata will probably be my next order.
Of course, if you are a wine drinker they are ready for you. They have a wine club and tastings available. There were lots of people taking advantage of that. Another friend who dined there said she got a hard sell on signing up for the wine club. We did not, but I can see how that might be off-putting.
We will go again and see how things go. I hope well because I really want to love it.
