Happy Friday. Hope the week was good for you and the weekend ahead is looking promising. We have a fairly quiet one ahead and I don’t ever mind that.
If you have some down time this weekend, maybe you are looking for some sofa entertainment. This is what I have watched lately

The People We Meet on Vacation is actually a book made into a movie. I never read the book but I do remember all the buzz around it. I enjoyed the movie. It is an interesting plot with a few small twists.
Goodbye June is not for the faint of heart. There’s some terminal illness going on and a lot of family dysfunction. This one has Steel Magnolia, Beaches, Terms of Endearment vibes. So if you need a cry, you can tune into for this one. It is well done but definitely a tear jerker.
Not a tear jerker is Simon Cowell, The Next Act. This is all about Simon trying to demonstrate his relevance by putting together a new boy band. It was interesting but I watched while doing housework. I never got invested enough to actually sit and watch it.
Jay Kelly is about a movie star and all the people he has around him as handlers. We get a little look at the sacrifices all the assistants make to keep the star shining. We also see how out of touch a star can be with real life and his own family. This is like classic Hollywood peeled back. I enjoyed it. It was entertaining.
Enjoy your weekend and a few good shows. If you know anything I should watch definitely let me know.
