Welcome to Friday! We made it through another week hope you had a great one. If you are looking for something to watch this weekend, here are a few things I have been watching
Here’s what i thought of each
I loved Marry Me. I wasn’t sure from the previews but it was actually so cute. Very entertaining and clean. It was fun and funny and just lovely. I highly recommend.
Untold is a series of stories that you probably heard a little about in the news. These give all the details. some of the stories were more interesting than others, but for the most part I enjoyed them all. Like we always say around here, you can’t make up anything stranger than real life.
That’s Amor is a cute little movie about a young woman who loses her boyfriend and job in the same day. She goes home and maybe finds a new love. It’s predictable and cute.
Instant Dream Home has an extreme home makeover feel. A team surprises a family with updates to their home. The shenanigans to get all this done in 12 hours is highly scripted. They literally have a ‘castraphe’ every episode that they just don’t know how they will overcome. But of course they do. You have to look past all that and just enjoy the family being genuinely surprised at the end.
Lastly, Shania Twain’s documentary…. I did not love this one. It was just okay. If you are a big fan you might like it more than I did. I like her. I don’t mind her music and actually enjoy some of it, but I didn’t enjoy the story very much.
