Y’all I have been watching this….
I had no idea this show existed until it popped up on my Instagram. I immediately went in search of where I could watch it. The only place I found was on Roku. If you have a Roku just search for it. There are lots of seasons. I think eleven! I started with the season from 2014….so what they are making is pretty old and we would say dated, but the sewing techniques are valid. This show is just like the baking show except with sewing challenges. And just like he baking show they give them some super hard stuff to complete.
I only watch it at night after everything is done for the day. It has been my special little treat that I look forward to.
In other sewing news I made myself a new pin holder. I have all kinds of pin cushions and holders and boxes. But instagram got me again and a lady posted something similar to this dish and I thought I would make one.
I went over to Frank’s Good Stuff and scoured the store goodies for the perfect little bowl for $20
I then stopped at Harbor Freight which I believe is the third time in my life that I have entered that store and bought these magnets for a whopping 50 cents.
After securing the magnets on the underside of the dish with some heavy duty glue
It makes the perfect little pin grab dish. The magnets hold the pins in place, but also easy to grab.
Now I am off to make some pillows and a couple of other surprises that I will have to show you later.
