Welcome to Friday, everyone. I am super ready for this one. I am not sure if it is the heat or what, but it just seems like it has been a long week. I will say I am very happy that Golden State won last night….for two reasons. One – they seem like some sweet boys. Two – we don’t have to watch any more games. Good lands, I need next year’s champions to be able to win in four. This is just too much basketball.
But today I am sharing something I made recently. While my child was in Spain, I set up my sewing machine in her room and literally sewed non-stop. I will be sharing some other projects in the future, but today
a linen sandwich bag and matching napkin. Other than going to Spain this daughter also likes picnics. So I made her a pair of sandwich bags which are lined with ripstitch to make them water resistant.
I subscribe to a really beautiful publication called Making Magazine. It is a really well done collection of crafters sharing their creations. I actually want to make every thing in the book. These are a version of one of this edition’s features
I am 100 percent sure my daughter had no idea she needed this in her life, but of course she did.
We all have our thing that relaxes us and making and creating fun things is mine…..whatever your thing is I hope you will carve out some time and enjoy doing it soon.
