I happen to be a fan of tassels. I like them hanging on drawer pulls, the cabinet hardware, as bookmarks……pretty much anything.
I decided to make a quick one to add to my nightstand and here is the quick tutorial.

- For supplies you need yarn, scissors and a small book or piece of cardboard to wrap your yarn around.
- I wanted a grey and white tassel. So instead of using white and grey yarn I just found a yarn that had both colors already in it. Also, I wanted the tassel to be about six inches long and so that is the size book I used.
- I wrapped the yarn about twenty times around the book and then just slid it off
- I cut another piece of yarn about 8 inches long and looped it through
- Tie it tight securing the yarn
- Then cut another piece and wrap it around about inch from the top and tie in a knot
- Cut the loops free at the bottom
- And you have yourself a tassel.
These would also be cute to tie on a package.
Now for the winner of the throw from Friday…..
Congratulations
