Did you all buy pumpkins and mums and such fallness for your porches? I have to say it was a little challenging this year. Is it something else we should blame on Covid? I mean first we have a coin shortage and then the pumpkins seemed to be a bit scarce. Wait, before you tell me Walmart has plenty you already know there has to be bit of an emergency to draw me there….and I didn’t consider pumpkins an emergency. I will say that I am currently researching the new Walmart Plus program, however, and if they will indeed drop everything on my doorstep quickly we just might get back together….But I will report on all of that another day.
For now the porch is done
Ironically, I got those barrel planters from Walmart. Yep I ordered them last year and had them shipped. They held up great.
Here is the link if you are interested. They are pretty good sized. I use a couple of my terracotta pots turned upside down in the bottom to provide a little lift to the pumpkins or plants I am putting inside.
