We were chatting in the office yesterday about dinner plans. Just everyone talking about what they were having, what they had taken out of the freezer, etc. One of my co-workers asked if I had ever had the Chicken Pot Pie from Kentucky Fried Chicken……uh no…..I go to KFC less often than I go to Wal Mart. It borderlines on never. In fact, I am pretty sure the only time I go is when someone has had a dental procedure and has to have mashed potatoes. They do have great mashed potatoes.
I took the suggestion of the Pot Pie and filed it away. But I was driving home listening to my audio book and the couple in the book went to dinner and guess what they ordered – Chicken Pot Pie. I was like that’s it —-we are having Chicken Pot Pie.

I was a little worried about finishing it all. But I powered through because I am no quitter. Y’all, it was delicious. It was “I am going back again” good! The crust was perfection and the filling was hearty and creamy. It was really good.
Am I the only person in the world who didn’t even know this existed? Have you all had these before? If yes, I am curious as to why all of you were holding out on me all this time. If you haven’t had it, go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Never tried it … assumed it would be “meh”. But now it’s on my list to try. And Pot pie takes me back to my childhood and my grandmother making them. Excited to try the KFC version…Comfort food.
