It has been a while since I have given a brunch report. Well we have still been trying new places but we haven’t enjoyed a couple of them. I always hate to speak poorly of someone and their business. I mean restaurants are hard. People have a lot invested in these businesses. So I pretty much report on the ones I like.
Here’s one we enjoyed
Revivalist is the restaurant at the 106 Jefferson Hotel. The atmosphere is lovely. The decor is cozy yet modern. I liked the feel of this place. There are velvet furnishings, leather walls and cool lighting. We did make a reservation so the wait wasn’t long and the service was good.
In true fashion we stuck with our normal orders: a classic bacon and eggs breakfast and an omelette. They were both good!
The hotel also looks very nice. If you decide to tear walls out of your house or have your wood floors refinished, consider a little local stay there…..and enjoy brunch!

I almost never do brunch but I do want to try it soon. Especially while fall is here. I may try somewhere I’ve never been and invite my cousin. I’m sure there are some yummy fall pancakes somewhere in town.🧡🤤
