Organizing

Happy Monday, everyone. Hope you had a great weekend. First, let me say a big thank you to you all for your sweet emails and texts about the remodel. I really appreciate all the encouragement and stories of life on the other side of remodeling. I did pick out our 10th paint sample this weekend. It’s my last attempt. If this one doesn’t work, I am just going to put the paint chips in a hat and draw one. How bad could it be?…..don’t answer that…..it’s rhetorical :).

But I did manage to do a little organizing as well. You may remember, I shared with you my storage bag organizer some time ago. I store my bags in a drawer so we really enjoy this organizer

We love it. It works really well for us. But since we have been remodeling, I have been cooking every day in my poor mom’s kitchen downstairs. She is very kindly enduring the intrusion. She also is dealing with my insertion of things that she did not ask for. Well she stores her storage bags in a cabinet so my drawer organizer would not work for her. But I thought this would and we are giving it a try

It is a file organizer that I found in the office section which just happens to be the right size also for storage bag boxes.

Just a reminder to always consider all areas of the store when organizing. We needed something upright with a slim profile and the office section was the gem.

So there you go – rather you use a drawer or a cabinet, maybe one of these ways will help you to organize a little corner of your kitchen.
