Another item on my spring bucket list was doing some form of personal care for myself. I started this month with a hydrafcial. Now let me start by saying if you are accustomed to spa facials where they gently rub good smelling things into your skin and you feel clean and relaxed and maybe get in a nap…..well this is different. I would call this more of a skin treatment not just a facial.
I went to my good friends The Edit Studio

I love all the girls who run this place. They are so kind and so patient and very knowledgeable. I have gone here before for skincare consultations and made several trips to buy products. I always enjoy visiting with them.
My hydrafacial appointment was with Shay

She is super sweet and energetic and very pleasant to engage with. The other aesthetician is Jade and I have worked with them both. They are both awesome. If you decide to try it, take the first appointment with whichever is available. You will love them both.

This is not my face. I pulled all of these photos from their Instagram page. I so enjoyed my visit I did not take any actual photos myself. But the hydrafacial is about an hour long process of deep cleansing, exfoliating and extractions. Poor Shay did a lot of extracting for me. I am pretty sure she found some gunk from my 7th grade face. She did a fantastic job and my face has never felt better. In addition to pulling out all the bad, she also pumped in a lot of good. She talked to me about my challenges and my goals and re-hydrated and treated my skin with just what it needed. And there is no downtime. I was able to walk right out of there and right into my next stop – TJ Maxx with no problem. 🙂
They offer several other treatments as well. They are having a soiree upcoming

You can definitely pop in then to learn more or call for a consultation or an appointment. This is in no way sponsored. I am just sharing people, places and experiences I love.
See you back on Friday…..
