This is one of my favorite posts of the year. You all are always so generous and while we meet here and chat about all manner of things during the year, it really is fun to join our hearts in supporting a few great charitable efforts.
We have worked with both of these before and I am thrilled we get to support them again this year. Above is the list of items needed for each.
The North Alabama Foster Closet supports Foster Families as they answer the call to take in children. When families get those calls they can turn to the Foster Closet to help set them up for success by providing the necessities for children of all ages.
Beyond Blessed Homeless Ministry is meeting the needs of the sadly growing homeless population. They provide basic groceries, they do laundry days and meet basic supply needs for these men.
I would love for you to donate whatever you are led to give. You know I always encourage shopping, so please by all means enjoy gathering some of these items. I also know shopping is not a pleasure for some of you. You may also contact me to give a monetary donation. We can do one of the fund transfer services if that is easiest for you. You tell me how you want your monetary donation used. I will do the shopping for you!
Please have all items or monetary donations to me by December 6th. I will deliver them to the charity and report back here all we contribute.

Thank you so much for including Beyond Blessed homeless ministry in your giving project for the group this year. We so appreicate what you all have done in the past. Our numbers have grown so much. We now have women in the group but the largest number are still men. The sizes are now more L-XL for some of the taller guys. Anything will be appreciated by our homeless friends. I so dread the winter months for them. We had an awesome Thanksgiving meal for them this past Saturday. We were able to bless about 45 with turkey/dressing, ham, all the good sides, and desserts! God is so good!
