Welcome to March, friends. Today we roll out our new verse for the month as we continue to focus on LOVE for 2021. Sometimes loving isn’t easy. All kinds of things get in our way…..personalities, political views, cultural differences, pride, selfishness, true hurt and pain. But how wonderful that each of us knows, despite our human flaws, God loves us all. And don’t we want to model a life after the Perfect Example we have been given.
As we focus on Psalm 103:8 this month let’s each ask ourselves
With whom or what situation should we be more compassionate?
With whom or what situation could use us being more gracious?
With whom or what situation would be better served with us being slow to anger?
Who or what situation could use our abounding love?
I hope we will really challenge ourselves this month as we seek to walk in the kind of love God shows us every day. Challenge a friend. Ask someone to help you be accountable this month. Maybe you want to focus on a different one of these beautiful traits of love each week of March. Go ahead, start with Compassion and really focus in this week and then move to Grace.
By the end of the month let’s all be abounding in love.
