Welcome to Wednesday, everyone. The temps around here have cooled off which only means we are no longer near 100 degrees, it is only in the upper 80’s. This is when we start going by Hobby Lobby and encouraging the rows of pumpkins. When we are excited about upper 80’s we need fall because apparently all of our brains have suffered heat damage.
Hey, just stay in and watch some good television. Here’s what I have been watching lately
To be perfectly honest, I have just been watching the British Sewing Bee. I am slightly obsessed with it. I am up to season six and keep trying to slow down because I am going to be so sad when I have watched all the seasons. I have learned so much and it just makes me want to live in my sewing room. Even if you don’t sew I think you would enjoy it. I mean we enjoy the baking show and none of us our making angel food cakes from scratch…..or maybe you are.
Regardless, in order to slow down on the sewing show I have watched a few more things. The following three were just bizarro!
Trust Me (The False Prophet) – true story, just very disturbing and shocking and so sad that for one, people can be misled like this and secondly, that people mislead others.
Nobody Dumps my Daughter – also based on a true story and equally shocking. This is precisely why I would not let me kids just date for fun. People are scarily nutty. This mom takes the cake. My goodness these are high school kids…..no one needs to die.
Priscilla – I assume this was someone’s account of actual events and I don’t know….. it was weird. I don’t know how she survived some of these shenanigans.
So to lighten things up a bit I watched The Company Retreat. Now this is hilarious. If you watched Jury Duty you already get the idea. There is one person who is a normal, regular off the street person. Everyone else are actors. They say and do some of the craziest things and the real person has no idea they are purposely making mayhem. This is such an entertaining concept.
Alrighty, now I am going to go watch one…..just one episode of the sewing show.
