Happy Monday, everyone. Hope you enjoyed a good weekend. We had a fun yard sale and got a lot of “treasures” placed in other homes where hopefully they will be enjoyed. Once we were done with all that fun we took a quick nap and got ready for The Orion.
I have never been to an event at The Orion but this weekend I took this young lady
To see one of her favorites.
THE Rod Stewart in concert. Actually this is the second time she and I have gone to a Rod Stewart concert. We went probably almost 20 years ago and then this year the family gifted her these tickets for her birthday…..and I was the driver/chaperone.
The Orion was nice. It is a well done and well run machine. I heard there wasn’t a bad seat in the house and now I believe it. We sat just above the floor seats and had a perfect view. We could sit and enjoy the concert. I understand floor level folks like to stand and more power to them, but we were there for nearly four hours and I am thankful that we could sit and enjoy Rod shaking his hips and singing his tunes.
Rod, Mom and I are all a little different between the first time we saw him and this time…..but the same amount of fun was had. Who knows….maybe we will all do it again!
