That super duper speed of Mondays is still in full effect and here we are again. I hope you had a great weekend full of whatever you enjoy. I was busy getting a few projects done and that is exactly the kind of weekend I enjoy.
I found a few baskets on sale that I thought we could use but I wasn’t in love with the color

Nothing wrong this the color. It is literally the color of almost every basket they sell. But for the wall it is going on, we just needed it to be a little more muted. I took a little of the wall paint and mixed it with a little water and “painted” the basket

This shows you the contrast of the before and after.
And here it is hanging in its spot to organize bathroom stuff

Don’t you agree the softer color looks better?
So while I was in the painting mood, I also painted this

I know you are wondering what this is….well when Joanne’s Fabrics was closing they finally got down to actually selling the fixtures. This is an endcap from the store. I thought it was a steal for $40. I bought it, called my husband to swing by with the truck and brought it home. After 30 plus years he is very accustomed to my shenanigans and didn’t ask a single question. He just swung by the store, put it in the back of the truck and said where do I put it when I get it home.
I am in the process of making myself a sewing/gift wrap room and this is going to hold ribbon. I got myself a couple of cans of spray paint and went to work

I chose this navy blue and couldn’t be happier with how she turned out.

And now this week I will work to get her all stocked up and ready for wrapping season.
It will be nice to have a little of JoJo still with me. I am going to miss wandering around the fabric aisles.
I love a good repurpose. Paint is an awesome makeover agent. Maybe you have something still in good condition that just needs a little color change to work in your space.
Wishing you the absolute best week!

Such a neat idea.💙
Great idea!
Thanks, always fun to see how it comes together.
