Yesterday, I had some spare time and I decided to wander around Target. Checking the endcaps for clearance has always been one of my favorite past times. So I started in the home area and I ended up in TOYS!
Target is having a toy clearance right now. Here’s my haul
My kids are older so it has been a while since I spent time in the toy aisle. I got a 100 piece puzzle for under $2, dolls for $5 and all matters of things that I couldn’t resist. They had lots of board games too. Oh and we all know Target is one of those places that each store does their own clearance. So it definitely varies by store. But most of us have a couple of Targets near us so it may be worth a stop in at one or two or three of them. Also, I gathered up everything I thought I might be interested in and scanned each item. Several scanned cheaper than they were marked. For instance the Blues Clues set above was marked $18 but scanned $11.
I have seen several posts where lots of people have gotten Wal Mart toys on clearance too…..who knows I may even get the courage up to go there this weekend.
I have a couple of kids on my Christmas list that a few of these items will go to. The others are all set for a Toys for Tots donation. So even if you don’t have kids to buy for maybe you’d like to get ahead on a charitable donation.
