Summer Plans

Well here we are in full summer mode…..with the temperatures to prove it. What do you have planned? Or do you plan anything? We still don’t have any major trips planned, but I do want to set a few ideas to paper so hopefully I won’t look back at the end of summer and have done nothing. Although that is still a distinct possibility.

Well here’s a few things I have on my summer bucket list

Y’all my attic…… please no one submit me to Hoarders. I am going to get it under control. My goal this summer is to get everything in matching clear bins with labels. Wish me luck. Someone has stashed a lot of treasures there.

I follow several antique shoppes on social media. I hope to actually step foot in a few or several this summer. I always see things I love, but mostly I just want to slowly browse……slowly browsing may also be one of my love languages.

Picnics have been all the rage around my house lately, but mostly with my girls and their friends. I think it will be fun to plan a nice family picnic. My goal here is to just gather everything and be ready for a temperature friendly day.

We are so excited about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July. We make quite a production about going every year. Last year we did not get to go because of COVID so we have an extra year of anticipation and money saved up. We are ready, ready, ready.

I also haven’t hosted anyone at my house in over a year. So I have a couple of friends who I haven’t had a chance to see in person much at all. I am hoping to have them over for a fun little lunch.

Ok, so now I have said it out loud so I will be more motivated to actually accomplish these. If you need that same motivation, shout out in the comments something you hope to do this summer. Maybe we can all get some ideas from each other.
