I hope you had a great weekend. We celebrated everything I mentioned on Friday and our 31st wedding anniversary since I last met you here. We are now moving into a quiet season in our household at least for a month or two.
Last Thursday we headed to Nashville to see Carlos Whittaker and Annie Downs in their We are Here For You Tour. We have followed Annie Downs for years. I took my girls to hear her speak when they were elementary age and as teens. She is a seriously down to earth inspiring lady. I just started following Carlos Whittaker on Instagram in the last couple of years. If you are on Instagram, they are both great follows. They are positive and a breath of fresh air with all the other stuff going on in the world.
Anyway, at the event I purchased another Annie Downs book – Chase the Fun. Of course I did! I have already taken a glance through and I think it is awesome.
It is all about reconnecting to fun and experiencing it together. I bought two copies. One is getting mailed to a friend in another town and hopefully I can talk her into working our way through it together.
Fun along with accountability……that’s the kind of fun we have at our age.
