It is a weekend of celebration for us
Of course we are having Father’s Day and we are also celebrating the older daughter’s birthday. She was actually born on Father’s Day so these two events often coincide with each other. We have already had a lunch, a quick trip to Nashville and back and a cake……and that was the warm up. We still have dinner, presents and a cookie cake to go.

Also, we are looking forward to Juneteenth on Monday. Of course, this is a newer official holiday for most and so I think the retailers and most people are trying to figure out how to celebrate exactly. There are lots of good articles about it out there. And maybe that’s a good place to start. Learn something new and broadening our understanding is always a great starting point.
