Today is just a sharing of some random things we have been up to

First, tell me you are having a book signing and I am there. I absolutely love hearing the back story, the process and little tidbits that they author is inserting into books that I might miss unless I get the scoop. Snail on the Wall hosted two recently

I went to see local author Sarah Crouch with her debut book Middletide

That’s her beautiful book on the shelves beside her. Another local author Georgina Cross led the conversation with Sarah. I cannot wait to read this one. The cover alone is worth owning the book. I am sure the story is just as good.

I also went to see NY Times Best selling author Katherine Center

as she rolled out her new book

She was hilarious and such a joy to meet. She writes very funny and clean romance novels. Yes, please and thank you. This book has hot pink page edges and is also so very pretty.

If you are not following Snail on the Wall, you are missing out. They bring the best author events to town.

Keeping with the book theme

Thirty-two years of marriage and my husband knows exactly what to buy me. The flowers were lovely but you know how excited I was to see the book. This is Elin Hilderbrand’s last Nantucket book. There are probably close to 30 books that are set in Nantucket by her so this is the end to quite a run. Some of those are series, but lots of them are stand alone stories. I haven’t read them all, but I have read lots of them and I have always enjoyed them. Getting this last one for an anniversary present was really special.

Now here is something I am looking forward to

– this Thursday Nordstrom will release the Anniversary Sale items and in just a week or so we will be heading to the sale. T-shirts are ordered, the group is ready….we cannot wait. We will be sure to share the experience with you here and on social media.
