Happy Wednesday, everyone. Hope you are off to a great start and having a good week. Today we are doing a phone check in. Listen, think quickly about what would be the worst about losing your phone. No one on this earth wants that to happen. I mean the panic that ensues when I can’t put my hands quickly on my phone is intense. Like when I put it in the wrong section of my purse and reach for it and its not there. The ten seconds it takes for me to realize it is in a different pocket are a terrible ten seconds.
But I can recreate most things that are my phone. I mean it would be a pain, but I could eventually get my all my contacts built back up….eventually. Primarily my camera roll is mainly made up of things I need to remember. I have more reminder photos than family photos. I am at the point in life that my memory can’t be trusted. So I screenshot anything and everything that I don’t want to forget. When I find a new store I screenshot it. I have recipes I want to try, books I want to read, products that seem interesting, craft ideas, upcoming sales, etc. I literally surprise myself sometimes when I scroll through my camera roll because that is how quickly ideas exit my brain.
I got this little product that allows me to plug right into my phone The picture keeper connect

The fun thing about this picture keeper is it picks up any new items on my phone so I don’t end up with a lot of duplicates. It only adds the new items since the last time I plugged it in.
While this also picks up my contacts, I primarily got it for the photo and video backup. I am never really in a storage crisis. I don’t take that many photos. But if you often run out of storage this will help with that too.
Definitely hang on to that phone, but this is a good little security backup plan.
See you back on Friday.
