Hello! I hope you had a beautiful weekend and got in some worship. We had such pretty weather and just a great time with family and friends. Easter weekend is always so special. It was nice to enjoy everyone and to focus on the redeeming love of Christ.
Hopefully, you are walking into the week prepared for the days ahead and looking forward to a new week.
We are rolling out our April focus for our word of the year today. We are spending this year focused on the word Correspond and approaching it with a special focus each month. Here’s our focus for April

I absolutely never take friendship for granted. Good friends are a blessing. They aren’t always easy to come by, but when they show up we should always be grateful. So this month we are going to write a letter to someone and thank them for being a good friend.
Now this can be thanking someone for being a good friend to you or to your child, your parent, your sibling. Whomever you choose is fine. So here are some prompts to get you started
- Thank you for being a friend to ________
- _________ is so luck to have you as a friend
- You showed up and made some hard times easier for __________
- You have been such a blessing in _________ life over the years
So pick your person and write them a few nice lines about what you have noticed them doing well as far as being a good friend. We can all agree that good friends deserved to be called out. Enjoy this month’s focus and make someone feel special and encouraged.
Go make it a great week!
