First, if you are not following Snail on the Wall, you should be. They are our local bookstore that is not a bookstore. I have started trying to order my books from them as much as possible. If you are local, they don’t charge shipping and they hand deliver your book to your doorstep in a little brown bag. Are they sometimes slightly more expensive? Yes, sometimes they are. But I think it is worth it because they bring great authors to our city like the ones above.
Also, they know how to do a book event. If my calendar permits, I try to go to every book event they have. I love that authors come and speak and sign books. Some of their events require tickets. Some of them do not.
I wanted to bring these two events to your attention because I enjoy both of these authors. I think you might too!
Check your calendars. Check out the Snail on the Wall website. Buy tickets if you need to and who knows, maybe I will see you there.
