Every month when I write our word of the year post I am reminded how fast this year is going. But what a way to spend it, in prayer! This month our prayer focus is

Kids just got out of school or in some areas are wrapping up the year. So that means they are gearing up for the next year. Let’s focus on praying for all those kids who are going to be making a school change. Lots of pre-K’ers will be going to new elementary schools. Fifth graders will be going to middle school. Many 8th graders will be headed to new high schools. And of course those seniors may be headed to a college campus. There will be some families who are making a physical move that will bring a new school to the mix.
Trust me, lots of these kids are already thinking and anticipating these changes. College orientations are definitely beginning and school open houses are just around the corner.
So let’s pray for Divine relationship building. God is so good to help kids meet through sports or camps or VBSs or random interactions at the grocery store. However He chooses we can trust Him to help kids meet and develop productive, healthy relationships. Let’s pray that anxiety does not get a foothold with these kids but that they feel peace and calm. The kind God specializes in.
And let’s pray they feel God with them. That they start training their hearts and minds to feel His presence!
Don’t forget – that white spot on the graphic is where you can list specific names as a reminder for you to pray.
Thanks for praying along with us this year!

Thank you for your prayers.🙏🏾🙏🏾
