Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Independent Bookstores, We love you!!!!
I mean seriously, have you browsed an Independent Bookstore lately? Just the atmosphere. The shelves and shelves of books ready to opened and enjoyed. I mean what a cool place to hang out!
However you read, I encourage you to go to an independent bookstore in your area this Saturday. Most all stores will be having events and specials and fun activities. So it should just be fun, but also a great chance to support them and say thanks for being in our communities. We need our bookstores!!!!
If you absolutely do not read, still pop into one and buy a gift for someone. There are all kinds of great book giving opportunities….graduations….Mother’s Day….random Fridays. I mean do we really need an excuse to gift a book to someone? I think not.
I will be at my favorite Independent Bookstore – The Snail on the Wall. They have all kinds of fun stuff planned and I am here for it all. Not only is The Snail a wonderful atmosphere, but they also bring such fun author events to town.
Get out there and support your Local Bookstores……it will make them so happy!
