Several of you have let me know you are interested in participating and I am very excited about what we are going to be able to do.
Also, a couple of you came through with two awesome opportunities for us to pour into
One is a organization that helps the homeless population in our area. I just finished watching the movie The Same Kind of Different as Me and my goodness. I read the book several years ago and honestly I sometimes shy away from really good books made into movies because they never live up to the book. But this one is well done and so heart breaking and inspiring. If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend.
The second opportunity is to help some kids in need. I don’t want to divulge too much detail to protect privacy, but hearing of a child who should be living the most carefree times of their lives struggling for shelter and the basic necessities…….and I mean as basic as undergarments, we have to be prompted to action.
We are currently in communication with these two and finding out how we can be the most impactful with our giving.
Many of you, like me, couldn’t name a specific place or person to give to. And that, my friends, is just another reminder of how very, very blessed we are. How gracious is our God Who can do everything all by Himself to allow us to play a part.
