Joy – May Edition

Okay, we made it to Friday! And I loved this week of focusing on celebrating women. We shall continue today.

This month’s joy focus is – A BIG TIP

We have a little pot of money that we set aside to do things for others. It is not a lot but a few dollars from each paycheck goes into this account. Then when we have the opportunity to bless someone, we use this money. Occasionally, we will decide as a family to do a BIG TIP. When we eat out we normally chat a little with the server and should the opportunity present itself we leave a larger tip than normal.

It is really a fun family activity. I will pull some cash out of the fund and tuck it into my purse and then we get to leave it on the table and skedaddle.

Maybe if you and the family or you and friends have a meal out this weekend, you could BIG TIP someone. I mean can you imagine being a mom working Mother’s Day weekend receiving a big tip?!!

And it of course doesn’t have to be this weekend. It will be our focus all month, so you could take time to build up your fund so it is readily available whenever you decide you want to use it.
