Leave No Trace – well it was just depressing. Essentially a father and daughter are living off the grid. They are spotted and brought into the community. The daughter kind of likes it. The dad not so much. It is heavy on the PTSD. I was actually sad when it was all said and done.
Girl in the Picture – well this one was depressing and disturbing. It is not often that I wish I didn’t watch a show. But I wish this one was not in my brain cells. It is a true story. It is a horrible story. I had to go straight to QVC when this one went off just to try to cleanse my brain before bedtime. This poor girl’s life was just tragic. It was hard to watch.
Hello Goodbye and Everything in Between – finally, this one was enjoyable. A high school couple has always had the plan to say goodbye upon graduation and go their separate ways. Well easier said than done. It is a sweet young love story that I actually enjoyed.
Snowflake Mountain – this is a reality show. I like reality shows. The premise is they take a bunch of young kids who won’t grow up or work or take care of themselves or anything. Apparently, the term for such a person is a snowflake. This was news to me. Anyway, they seclude them on this mountain and two survival guys put them through the paces. They can leave at anytime. If they stay they have a chance to win a monetary prize. It was ok, but the language is horrendous. Also, the kids are really sad. Some of them have real issues. Some thrive and become better. This one was ok.
Sandy Wexler – this is a movie with the oddest leading couple-Jennifer Hudson and Adam Sandler. Adam plays Sandy Wexler who is a hollywood agent who has a bunch of bad to mediocre talent…..until he discovers Jennifer’s character. It was a cute movie.
