Every year some of my favorite girls get together for our annual Favorite Things Party. We each bring three of our favorite things and randomly exchange and take home three new favorite things. This year we chose not to assemble…..you know safety and all. But we still carried on. Each person dropped their items on my porch or had them shipped directly to me.
I drew the names put each person’s in a canvas tote and delivered them to their porch. Those little brown boxes are full of party goodies. I made Rolo Truffles, Caramel Haystacks, Seasoned Oyster Crackers, Sugar Cookies and Oatmeal Cookies. Each person got to open their gifts and have their snacks in their own home.
We had 23 people participate. That was a lot of porches to do drop offs on. But I discovered I may want to drive for UPS when I retire. It was quite fun. But they probably won’t let me pick all my friends and family’s addresses for my route…..so maybe not.
Love on your people. Have some good fellowship. You may have to do it differently but still do it.
