Wow it has been rainy and great tv weather. And I have made the most of it. Here’s some of my latest viewing
The Circle Season 2 – I loved season one of this show. I liked season two. There’s still some language so be prepared for that, but I find people entertaining so I enjoyed this show.
The Imposters – now this was a fun series. Just a couple of scenes and a little language. But a fun story line. There’s a con-game going on and when some of the marks join forces there’s a lot of fireworks. There are points when you won’t be sure who to root for. Some mystery, some love, some utter nonsense…..what more could you want in a tv show.
Hope Gap – This one took me by surprise. This older couple who have been together for years finally decides to call it quits. Well one of them decides this. The other is in complete denial. The poor son finds himself smack dab in the middle of it all. If you watched the crown, the actor who played Phillip is the son in this movie. It was interesting to see him in a different role. I enjoyed this movie.
Like a Boss – there’s definitely some language in this one but it is fun story about two girls who have been friends forever going into business together. They make some deals that aren’t the best. Will their business survive? Will their friendship survive? Give it a watch to find out.
Herself – Please be warned this one has some in your face domestic violence. But the wife does not stay a victim long…..she decides to read books and learn to build a house for herself and her kids. Of course, it is not as easy as that. It is a great story of perseverance, friendship and love.
Dirty John season 1 – ok this is a story of a couple who meet on line, they go out, they quickly get married and they do not have the support of her family. If only that was all. There’s more….so much more. When the words came up on the screen that this was based on real life events it becomes mind blowing. There are several episodes so definitely pace yourself. I am off to watch Season 2.
