Well if you haven’t melted in this heat…..congratulations! It has certainly been very hot. I picked up my second Farmer’s Hub order yesterday. This week I got myself some butterbeans. I am very excited to make them this week. I have managed to get some entertainment in between ordering vegetables.
Here’s a few things I have watched lately

A Deadly American Marriage is based on a true story. Basically the husband ends up dead after a dispute with his new wife and her dad. The question is was it murder or self-defense. One of the saddest parts is that there are small kids involved and they are just confused. You can’t blame them. Not sure anyone is telling the total truth in this whole story. This was interesting.
I LOVED The Quilters. It is less than an hour so definitely worth the watch. It is a very sweet story about a men’s prison which has developed a quilting mission. These prisoners make specialized quilts for children in foster care in their area. The care and detail they put into these quilts is just so sweet. I watched the whole thing and then my daughter walked in and I made her sit down and I watched it again with her. Please watch it. It was very heart warming.
Race for the Crown is just entertaining and interesting. It is a behind the scenes look at the Kentucky Derby, the horse owners, trainers and jockeys. This whole thing is a world within itself. There’s a lot of money circulation. I always a enjoy a peek behind the curtain so I enjoyed this one too.
I also watched a really old movie Crazy Stupid Love. Steve Carell’s character is devastated by the end of his marriage. Ryan Gosling plays a smooth operator who tries to help him in the dating game. It is silly and predictable but I enjoyed it.
Stay cool….and entertained.

The quilters sounds interesting. Thank you for sharing!
