The Entertainment Train has been slow rolling lately. No one is happier to hear the writers are back than I. Now if the actors can get a deal agreed to we might be back in business. Apparently, they record lots of episodes of terrible shows in case there is a strike every 10 years. I feel like many a show has made it out of the vault that should never have seen the light of day. But maybe we are turning the corner on this thing now.
Here are a few things I managed to enjoy

I am not a Bachelor fan. I watched maybe the first season or two, but then it just got to be too much drama and insanity and I gave up. But I had to see if the Golden Bachelor would be different. Would people over 70 behave the same way. I gotta tell you, I kind of can’t look away now. I am rooting for so many of these people. They are the sweetest and have such interesting back stories. I don’t know if I will finish it or not because it also pretty heartbreaking to see some of these sweet ladies go home. But right now, I’m in.
I found Last Vegas on Netflix. It wasn’t rated R so I gave it a try. It was exactly what you’d expect – four old friends go to Vegas for a bachelor party. There’s old beef between a couple of them but some real love. It turned out to fun and entertaining.
We always love the Amazing Race. The season is going hard core. There are no non-elimination legs, the Express Pass is back in play and the U-turn is mandatory. The Amazing Race crew is not playing around this season. Teams will be going home like crazy. I knew it was going to be a banner season when the first episode involved eating an entire dinner plate of bugs. And this is why I will only be a viewer and never a participant.
Okay, writers, welcome back. Please save us from these terrible shows. Our bar is pretty low right now so no need to break a sweat just ease us back into some well written sit-coms…….much appreciated.
Let’s make it a great week!
