Well we made it to Friday and I know I am happy to see it coming. We had a 5th grade graduation this week and a dance recital this weekend. It is really something to experience these things I did with my kids through my great niece and nephew. I also know these teachers are so ready for summer. I am ready for summer FOR THEM! Every time I drive by a school I can feel the excitement for the summer break.
I hope you have some fun things going on too. If you have some spare time this weekend or maybe need a show while folding laundry, here’s what I’ve watched lately……

You can probably use your context clues from the graphic to know I didn’t love one of them. But here we go.
La Dolce Villa is a sweet predictable story. A young girl buys a house in Italy. Her dad is freaked out by this so he travels to check it out. He stays for a while. Together they make something fun and beautiful. There are a lot of friendships, lots of food and fun! I really enjoyed this one.
Holland…..just was not my cup of tea. It was dark and odd and well very odd. There’s a family that gives an appearance of well functioning from the outside but totally weird behind closed doors. I was just left feeling that it was a weird story.
Okay, back to the ones I enjoyed. Back in Action was fantastic. What a pair Jamie and Cameron are! I don’t think I would have ever imagined this pair together but they were wonderful. They are special agents who retire and build a family. But their old world finds them and they have to call on their old skills to save their family. There’s a lot of action, humor and just good entertainment.
I also really enjoyed Heart of Champions. It is about a rowing team. There’s a dominant rower who has a bit of an arrogant attitude. They get a new coach and he really turns everything upside down. This one does have some really hard parts in it. So it is not a light watch. But it is a good movie for sure.
Here’s wishing you a wonderful weekend. If you see a teacher, hug them!
