No one loves some good reality TV as much as I and I have had a few things to keep me going, but we are so excited to welcome back Claim to Fame and Big Brother to our summer line up. However, while waiting I found a few movies to keep me entertained

Here’s what I have been watching lately

I Can Only Imagine – If you like the song, you will love this movie based on the true story of how it the song came to be. I was like ….Who knew! I think we realize a lot of good music comes from pain and this one is no exception. But wow, to watch those hard life lessons turn into such a beautiful song.

Love Again – Now if you enjoy Celine Dion, you pretty much have to watch this movie. The acting is not top notch but the story is cute and Celine’s music makes it even more special. Celine seems to be gradually coming back on the scene and I am here for it. The movie is not based on Celine’s life but it sure does have some similarities.

A Good Person – Buckle in for this one. It is intense, like Beaches, Steel Magnolias, you are going to need some tissue intense. It is not based around a terminal illness but it is based around addiction. It is a hard watch, but I really enjoyed it. I was pulling for every single character so very hard. I am glad I watched it for sure.

Lastly, A Simple Favor – A semi-timid mom does a favor for a fierce, take charge mom and things escalate quickly. There are a couple of spicy scenes. Wouldn’t watch it with kids but didn’t feel like I needed a shower afterwards. It is a far fetched story line but served the purpose of entertainment all the same.
