Welcome to Friday!!!! We made it. I feel like I am crawling across the finish line on this one. For some reason it has just been busy and hectic and I am ready to put a bow on it and enjoy a couple of days. We don’t have much planned and I am so happy. Plus next week I was scheduled for a day trip to a meeting and now it is going to be a Zoom call and that is really making me happy!
Mostly for my entertainment lately I have been watching sewing videos on line. I am fascinated to watch things come together and the creativity of people is mind boggling. I really enjoy the ones that they don’t tell you what they are making and yet they are just sewing and cutting and snipping away. I spend the whole time guessing (incorrectly) what the finished product is going to be. I got so caught up last night I almost subscribed to a monthly sewing club…….like I have time to sew. But I did bookmark it for later because I do think it would be fun.
When I haven’t been watching sewing videos I have been watching these shows:
Role Play – First, don’t be dissuaded by the title. I debated about even starting it. But it was really good. A couple decides to have a weekend away. On this trip the husband discovers the wife has a little sideline gig going that he was not aware of. There is a little violence in it, but there is also a lot of humor. I really enjoyed this one and recommend.
Poldark – I know I am behind on this one. But once I got going on it, I really enjoyed it. I have to say, the horses are the stars. Good grief they had to have been exhausted. This has all the elements – family drama, romance, business woes, questionable decisions…It is a series of several episodes so if you are looking for a binge show this is a good option.
Queen Pins – this is based on a true story where two women get the idea to start selling coupons……unfortunately the way the obtain the coupons isn’t legal. Quite frankly, they just got totally carried away. It is a bizarre series of events, but it was also very enjoyable.

I completely get it with the sewing. 🪡 I wish I could crochet. 🧶 It is such a wonderful skill as I have always been fascinated with it. I should binge some YouTube videos on it myself.
I am looking forward to the weekend as well. I plan to start tackling my spring cleaning list. Life has been so busy, so I plan to turn off the world this weekend and get in the zone.🌸
