Tomorrow our country will pause to honor those who are serving or have served. I am in awe of the personal sacrifices made by many on behalf of our country. Not only the individuals, but also their families.
If you are looking for a way to honor a veteran, here are a few ideas:
Attend a local Veteran’s Day celebration
Display a flag in your yard
Provide a dinner or a gift card for dinner for a Veteran and their family
Pray for our soldiers and their families
Write a note or letter to someone who is/has served
Check with local Veteran hospitals or organizations and see how you might donate or volunteer
Say thank you
Hopefully tomorrow you will have an opportunity to express appreciation to the brave people who have protected our freedom.
