Remember when we all roamed about the earth daily and ran into each other and said things like
I love that purse
You look great today
What a cute outfit
You are always so pleasant
I love your sweet spirit
I kind of miss that. No one in my house says….oh I like those black joggers you’ve been wearing for the last year and half…….or wow those slippers with that t-shirt look great.
So let’s challenge ourselves shall we? Whatever you are doing this weekend try to compliment three people each day. Maybe it will be someone at the grocery store or the person who delivers your groceries or a neighbor or even a family member.
Sure we are all friending and following each other and clicking the thumbs up or heart to show how much we like each other, but how about some words. Your choice – spoken, texted or in a comment. But go ahead and give someone a little esteem first bump this weekend and let them know you see them and you think they are great.
