Well we were at it again, trying out new brunch spots to report to you. This weekend we tried Amerigo. If you are familiar with Char, it is a sister restaurant to them.
The atmosphere was lovely. The staff and the service were very nice. It is very similar to Char in all those aspects. Clean, neat, professional…..you have to love all those things.
Here’s what we tried

I had the breakfast Panini. It had egg, bacon and Fontina cheese. It was very good and came with a choice of potatoes, soup, grits or salad. I chose the potatoes and they too were tasty.
My husband chose the Americano Omelette which was simply ham and cheese. He selected the goat cheese grits for his side. They were also good. Pay no attention to the potatoes on his plate……those came from my plate.
Because the pre-meal bread was so good, I had to take a picture of it too. I seriously could have been satisfied with it. Very good!
The Brunch menu prices were $10 – $27. Both of our choices were closer to the $11 mark. So there was a little something to fit every taste bud and budget.
I read through the lunch and dinner menu while we were waiting and I really liked the offerings. I could definitely see us going back for lunch.
There are so many new places opening, I do not know how we will get to them all….but we will try :).
Make it a great week!
