Happy Monday, friends. I do hope you had a good weekend. We had a lovely one. As you know and especially if you follow me on Instagram we had a grand day of gift wrapping on Saturday. Here are a few photos from the day
I try to put out some Christmas decor to get us in the mood so I pulled out a tablecloth and used my Christmas baking cups for our blueberry muffins. Our dear friend Phyllene always sends us a Harry and David box of goodies to enjoy through the day…..and that we did! I lit a holiday candle and set each of us a wrapping station with all the supplies. We all showed up in our Christmas pajamas ready to wrap.
This whole traditions started years ago when QVC would have Christmas in July and sell Christmas merchandise all day. We would watch the network all day long and wrap presents. Now we sprinkle in some Christmas movies. We watched the new Hallmark ones plus Oh What Fun which we also love.
I made a huge pot of chili and we ate and wrapped and got fully in the Christmas spirit.
We ended with quite a few gifts ready to go
Now we have everything stashed in its holding place for the next two or three months. Then we will pull out and adorn them with their ribbons and such and place them under the tree.
What a fun day doing something we love. And that is what it really about right? I hope whatever it is you love that you carve out some time and enjoy it to the fullest.
