Nothing like going into the weekend with new places to pop into. Here are a few that I have enjoyed recently
First up a bakery/eatery

My friend Tiffani recommended this one to me. It is in the Chuy’s plaza. I went in for some sour dough but it wasn’t baked yet so I ended up with a chicken salad sandwich (which was good but you must like mayo), a cinnamon chip loaf (which I have had a toasted slice of every day since) and a honey wheat loaf ( which has been a tasty sandwich bread). I was there on a Friday and noticed they closed at 3:00 that day, so go earlier in the day if you are interested. I will definitely return.
That same day I made my first trip to

This store is located on Hwy 72 in the Michaels/Marshalls plaza. I have been trying to think of how to describe this to you ever since I went in there. I still don’t know. Honestly, I was a little overwhelmed. I had to keep settling myself down while I was in there because there was just so much variety. There’s craft stuff, home decor, food products, cleaning, toiletries, housewares, candy…….oh gosh. It was a lot. If you were putting together a gift basket, an Easter basket, 12 days of Christmas……this would be a good store to go in. Oh and the stuff is name brand. They had Mrs. Meyers cleaning products and diet coke. I really was in a retail haze while I was in there. I can’t wait to go back now that I have my Pop Shelf feet under me. I ended up buying some stickers for my planner, a new pen, some baked Lays bbq chips, and some Nivea shower gel. See, it really is a random assortment of stuff at good prices. I literally just talked myself into going back this weekend. Maybe I will see you there.
Okay and lastly this place looks interesting and I want to go

It looks like it is off of Governor’s Drive in that Stovehouse area. They really seem to be big on coffee, but the sandwiches and desserts are what drew me in. Plus they have one of those little free libraries. I need to take some books…..and hopefully not grab another one. Anyway, it looks cute and fun. If you have been there, let me know what you think.
Whatever you do, I hope you have an enjoyable weekend full of things that you enjoy!
