Welcome to March! I changed my three month calendar this weekend and the fact that we now have March, April and May on the wall is blowing my mind. I mean May is when kids get out of school and summer break begins! This year has some speed behind it and it is moving. Thank you all for sending such nice messages about Friday’s sibling post. I always love to hear from you and loved hearing that you too love connecting with your brothers and sisters.
Sharing with you today another new thing I tried. I went to The Lash Lounge and got lash extensions. Now you all already know I’m not a makeup girl. I never will be. But I thought …hmmm I could get some lash extensions and just see how I feel about them.

Now I have nothing but great things to say about the business and the technician. They were professional and definitely skilled. They offer three types and I chose the lowest level one. I felt like I couldn’t go from zero to 100 overnight. So she said this option will just look like you have on mascara. And I think that was accurate.
The extensions are attached to your actual lashes so they shed at the normal rate like your natural lashes. So every two or three weeks you are supposed to go back and get a touch up.
I am one week in and well I am just going to have to see how it goes. I want to give them a legitimate try so I’ll go for a couple of touch ups for sure. Then I’ll have to decide if I’m locked in or not.
The initial visit was two hours. The touch up appointment is one hour. You do get to lay down with your eyes closed so a wonderful nap opportunity. There’s no pain or discomfort. Just literally lying there. I will say definitely don’t drink a large diet coke on your way there…..it may interfere with the nap part. And yes, I speak from experience.
Anyway I’ll see how it goes for a few more weeks and make a decision.

They look amazing! I absolutely love the Lash Lounge. I’ve been a committed lash extension wearer for years, and I love the natural “lift” it gives my eyes. Once you start, you won’t want to go back to your natural lashes! Lock in Sis – and enjoy the tranquility and that good lash nap!
