Invite

This is a great week to think of who might like to go to Easter Services with you. Maybe you’ve been wanting to invite someone, a family or some family members to church. Well I hear people are more likely to say yes if you ask around Easter. So this weekend would be a great time to extend the invitation, give them a week notice and hopefully people would like to join in.

Think about the things that discourage you from going to new places and then make it easy for your guests

• let’s ride together
• I can pick you up
• I will meet you by the front door of the church so we can walk in together and sit together
• you can dress in whatever makes you comfortable
• the service will last about……. (so they know what to expect)
• let’s have lunch together afterwards (back at your house or plan for a restaurant)
• if your church has several services, choose the one that will be easiest for your guests (if they have small children maybe not the sunrise service)

I am planning on inviting someone who has been on my heart. I hope they will come. But if they don’t, that will be okay. God asks us to plant the seed. He’ll take care of the harvest.

Go ahead and start thinking about who might like to join you and extend that invitation.
